AWS South America connectivity issue
On December 11, at 4:00 PM PST the Amazon Web Service data center of Sao Paulo (SA-EAST-1) has suffered connectivity issues that impacted services: CloudWatch, EC2, EMR, ElastiCache, RDS, SNS, SQS, VPC, CloudFormation, Direct Connect and Elastic Beanstalk. Those connectivity issues have made that users instances have lost their connection to the Internet or other Availability Zones.
All services was restored at 7:40 PM PST after human intervention to bring connectivity back to the impacted Availability Zone. Amazon have not explain the root cause of this connectivity issues.
