RackConnect connectivity issues
On May, 29, 2013 the RackConnect service, a solution designed for customers who require the flexibility and elasticity of the cloud, as well as the enhanced security and performance characteristics of traditional hosting of Rackspace, suffered intermittent connectivity issues from 07:27 PM EDT to 08:36 AM EDT on May, 30.
The only explanation given by Rackspace is:
Engineers have resolved the connectivity issues and are still investigating residual performance degradation impacting a portion of customers.
