Spliced fibers cause downtime for OVH
According to their status page, OVH had an outage on October 3 2013 starting at 15:59. The outage happened when 2 fiber connections got lost between Montreal and Beauharnois. It was resolved at 22:37 the same day by rerouting the traffic through an emergency route
