The second additional havoc
The extra second added to the universal time had a strong impact on many infrastructures. Some company, like Google, were prepared but many website have suffered difficulties or unavailability of service.
The databases were particularly stressed, mainly those based on Java like Hadoop and Casandra. The Linux Kernel of many servers have also suffered some performance loss by CPU surconsomation.
