Vodafone lost all data retention in a fire
The fire that raged in April this year in a network location from Vodafone, has ensured that the provider lost all data on it by the retention should store. A backup of the data was in the same room and was therefore lost.
The fire, smoke and water have destroyed all hardware. The company has lost a total of one year of data on phone calls and text messages and a half to information on Internet.
“Why all these data were stored in the same place, is a good question,” said Jasper cake, spokesman for Vodafone.
“That’s one of the lessons we can draw.” A backup of the traffic was prepared in the same room, and was therefore lost.
