Amazon: Internet Connectivity
A major Internet peering point in Northern California experienced a severe performance degradation in a portion of their exchange fabric, causing loss in network connectivity for Internet traffic that was traversing those peering points from 7:57 AM until 9:23 AM PDT. For paths where the failure was clean, there was no impact. This impact was not specific to AWS, but impacted all Internet traffic flowing through this exchange point for the duration of the event.
