Southern California GoDaddy customers affected by Verizon server transition
An email outage affected thousands of customers in the southern California area that have Verizon as their ISP.
Problem seemed to have started late in the evening on April 14. GoDaddy customers couldn’t access their email if Verizon is their ISP.
Verizon claimed the problem was with GoDaddy’s servers and they were completely unaware of the email outage. However, apparently the email outage is also affecting Verizon’s email customers, too.
Verizon mentioned they were transitioning over to a new server. But, how this affected GoDaddy’s customers is uncertain.
