Azure Access Control outage
Windows Azure Active Directory Access Control (also known as Access Control Service or ACS) is a cloud-based service that provides an easy way of authenticating and authorizing users to gain access to web applications and services.
On February 12, from 1:07 AM UTC to 2:31 AM UTC, the Access Control 2.0 in the North Central US sub-region has suffered an outage. No explanation was given by Microsoft Windows Azure team about the issue.
