SQL Database issue in Azure South Central US
On 27 october at 9:11 PM UTC, Windows Azure experienced an issue with SQL Database which is impacting several of services and customer. Windows Azure Service Dashboard indicate :
We evaluated that customers may experience timeouts and/or socket connection errors when attempting transactions with SQL Database, Service Bus, Access Control, Caching, SQL Reporting, Management Portal, Marketplace and Web Sites in the South Central US sub-region
The confirmation that SQL Database service has recovered and fully functional came on 28 october at 2:10 AM UTC. No explanation about the issues was given.
